Valentines Special Workshop

This is a half day workshop suitable for beginners, making a pair of silver heart earrings. During this session you will get to practise some of the traditional silversmith techniques needed to create your own pair of silver heart earrings.. This course will give you a taste of working in a metal work shop, using traditional tools and techniques. A brilliant day for anyone who is interested in the mechanics of metal work and of course your Valentine will very much appreciate the love, care and attention that's gone into making them or will enjoy making them for themselves. During this course you will practise the following; Using a jewellers saw and disc cutters to cut your silver to measure Shaping the silver Adding texture and patterns using a variety of techniques Create earring wires Soldering components Sanding and clean up of solder joint Finishing and polish. To make the day extra special all attendees with receive a complimentary mini bottle of prosecco and chocolates to enjoy on the day or to take away. Tea, coffee and biscuits included.
