Make a pair of silver stacking rings using traditional silversmith techniques
Service Description
This is a short course suitable for beginners, making a pair of silver stacking rings. During this session you will get to practise some of the traditional silversmith techniques needed to create two simple but lovely stacking rings. This course will give you a taste of working in a metal work shop, using traditional tools and techniques. A brilliant taster for anyone who is interested in the mechanics of metal work. If you would like to attend the course and make the rings for someone else, please let me know as I have some easy to use ring sizes which I can post out in advance so that you can make their size for them. The following dates are currently available on the website, but if you can't see what you would prefer please get in touch. During this course you will practise the following; Measuring your chosen finger and sizing your ring Using a jewellers saw to cut your silver to measure Soldering and shaping the silver wire into a circle Sanding and clean up of solder joint Adding texture and patterns using a variety of techniques Finishing and polishing ring. Light refreshments included.

Cancellation Policy
This course is not suitable for children under 15 years and anyone under the age of 18 years need to be accompanied by an adult also attending the course. Cancellations can be taken up to 5 working days prior to the course.
