Service Description

This is a short course suitable for beginners, making a lovely copper cuff and adding individual texture to make it uniquely yours. During this session you will get to practise some of the traditional metalsmith techniques needed to create your cuff. This course will give you a taste of working in a metal work shop, using traditional tools and techniques. A brilliant taster for anyone who is interested in the mechanics of metal work. During this course you will practise the following; Measuring and sizing your cuff Using a jewellers saw to cut your copper to measure Shaping the cuff Adding texture and patterns using a variety of techniques and tools Finishing and polishing
